CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Corporate Social Responsibility is the way in which we conduct business that achieves a balance or integration of economic, environmental, and social imperatives while at the same time addressing shareholder and stakeholder expectations. Our focus in CSR is supporting sustainable development initiatives in road safety, health and education.
Below are some of the initiatives we have undertaken in South Sudan:
Rumbek | August 2016
We have partnered with the Catholic Church in Rumbek in investing in education facilities in the area. Dalbit International South Sudan has towards this sponsored the construction of 6 new classes for the Bishop Caesar Mazzolari school, the only pre-school institution in the area. The project also included the construction of an abolition block for the institution. This project ensures that the close to 400 pupils have education facilities.
Bor | 2013
Education remains the single most powerful empowerment tool for development. We have partnered with Malek Academy to provide computers and other IT related equipment for use by the students in the Bor region of South Sudan.
